Cemetery Man - Dellamorte Dellamore (1994)
The night watchman, Francesco Dellamorte, of a cemetery in a small Italian Villa has an annoying problem when he finds it necessary to re-kill the very people he is paid to bury.  Though not too much of a task for he and his bumbling side kick, Gnaghi, the “Returners” are really more of an inconvenience compared to Dellamorte’s real issue of his continuous bad luck of falling in...

Zombieland (2009)
Talk about an over hyped movie, Zombieland was just.. meh.  Though you can’t really compare it to a Romeroesque style zombie flick since it’s probably classified as a Zomedy, it’s still over-rated in my opinion, likely due to it’s big marketing budget and cachet of the two stars, Woody Harrelson and a clumsy Michael Cera knock-off.  Granted it was ok, the characters...

watching Zombie Strippers
(via thatzafckinrainbow) It’s a pretty solid zombie movie, ya know… for a low budget cheesy zomedy.  And out of the two movies in the zombie/stripper sub-genre, it’s probably #1 :P  Also, Freddy Krueger plays the club owner, which is pretty sweet…

The 4th Reich - Upcomming Nazi Zombie Movie →
This is an upcoming UK zombie flick by Shaun Robert Smith that is supposed to begin shooting in Spring 2010. The movie is based on Smith’s short film The Soldier and is supposed to be in 3D.  It looks pretty promising and we definitely could use another Nazi zombie movie.  Not to mention it looks like there is going to be a cameo of Tom Savini, which is nice.

500 Rads - Secrect JJ Abrams Zombie Movie? →
There’s been a lot of speculation about JJ Abrams next project called 500 Rads, which a lot of bloggers are guessing will be some kind of post-apocalyptic zombie film, but really it’s all very hush hush, top secret and no one knows for sure. I hope it’s either a cool zombish type film or even better, a sequal to the 1986 BMX movie - Rad :P

MTV to Launch Dawn of the Dead TV series →
It doesn’t look official yet, but the rumors of a spin-off tv series of Romero’s Dawn of the Dead have been flying around the blogoshpere all day.  According to the article, it will feature both fast and slow zombies… hmmm interesting. I’ll work on trying to get more details for you guys, hopefully this thing happens.

[REC] 2007 Movie Review This shaky-cam style zombie flick, is one of the best I’ve seen and was truly a scary movie.  The ending is terrifying especially if your sitting on your couch alone in your darkened apartment. It’s Spanish and there’s sub titles, but that doesn’t really bother me that much, besides the universal language of sheer horror emitted by the characters...

New REC 2 Italian Trailer So Sony, who now owns the distribution rights to [REC]2, is releasing the movie to a bunch of other countries including Italy, however with the one exception of the United States…  what the hell?! I hope to god they don’t hold off on this in order to make a Quarantine 2, that would suck.  Just give us the damn original foreign film with sub-titles,...

Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! (2008) Movie Review I’d say that out of the top two movies in the zombie/stripper sub-genre, this one definitely comes in second. Which did you like better, Zombie Strippers or Zombies Zombies Zombies?

World War Z: Update with J. Michael Straczynski →
“Most zombie movies to this point have been small, focusing on a few people in a house. And this has got real scare. You’re in India with hundreds of boats trying to get out of there with a tidal wave of zombies. The scale of what we’re doing here is phenomenal.” I always thought that there should be a zombie movie that shows the global ramifications of the zombie apocalypse, rather...

Dance of the Dead (2008) You have your jocks, geeks, cheerleaders, punks, underachievers and of course, the SciFi Club.  Combine all of these elements leading up to the high school prom with a toxic sludge leak from the nuclear power plant (which is right next to the graveyard) and you have the recipe for an excellent zombie movie.  Think Sixteen Candles meets Shaun of the Dead.  This is Dance of...

Orgy of the Dead (1965) Imagine going to a strip club in 1965 during Halloween and the whole place is decorated with fake cobwebs and plastic vampire bats from your local 99 cent store.  This is Orgy of the Dead. I almost didn’t write a review on this because after watching, I realized that it wasn’t even close to being about zombies.  The busty characters are supposedly dead and...

Becoming a Zombie Buff
I’m a fan of zombies.  I’ve seen a good number of zombie movies.  However, I’ve never really considered myself a true zombie buff. So, in an attempt to become a zombie buff, I’ve decided to set the goal of watching every zombie movie ever made.  It’s certainly a big undertaking, though should provide for some quality and hopefully humorous content. After watching...
